Grilled garlic scapes with lemon thyme, Parmesan, and sea salt

Ingredients:

1/2 lb garlic scapes

1/4 cup olive oil

pepper to taste

1/4 cup Parmesan shavings

2 T chopped fresh lemon thyme

Vancouver Island fleur de sel to taste

Procedure:

Toss garlic scapes with olive oil oil and pepper; grill till crispy

Remove from grill and cut into smaller pieces, toss with lemon thyme and fleur de sel

Place on platter and top with shaved Parmesan

Serves 4-6 as a side dish
